Privacy Policy
SelfContour is designed as a local-first wellbeing app. Assessment answers, mood check-ins, generated insights, and next-step progress are stored on your device for the MVP.
Overview
SelfContour helps you reflect on patterns across stress response, executive function, sleep load, anxiety or low mood, and daily impact. The app is designed to generate personal reports without requiring an account, profile upload, analytics tracking, or server-side assessment storage.
Information stored on your device
The following information is intended to remain on your device:
- Assessment answers used to generate your contour report.
- Mood check-ins and daily reflection state.
- Suggested next-step progress and toolkit selections.
- Generated summaries, report state, and local app preferences.
SelfContour does not require an account for the MVP and does not upload your assessment content to a SelfContour server.
Purchases and RevenueCat
Paid access is processed through Apple App Store in-app purchase and RevenueCat. RevenueCat helps the app check whether the Selfcontour Pro entitlement is active and whether a purchase can be restored.
Purchase systems may process technical purchase data such as transaction identifiers, receipt data, product identifiers, entitlement state, app user identifiers, device platform, and related diagnostics. Your assessment answers and mood check-ins are not sent to RevenueCat by SelfContour.
Support requests
If you contact SelfContour support by email, we will receive the information you choose to include in that message, such as your email address, device details, screenshots, and issue description. Do not include sensitive health information unless you decide it is necessary for your support request.
Deleting your data
Because SelfContour stores MVP assessment and check-in data locally, deleting the app from your device will remove the app's local data according to iOS behaviour. A future version may include an in-app reset option for clearing report data without uninstalling.
Apple and RevenueCat purchase records are separate from local app content. Restoring purchases may remain possible after reinstalling the app.
Children
SelfContour is not intended for children under 13. If this changes, the privacy policy and App Store metadata should be updated before release.
Health and safety boundary
SelfContour is not a medical device, diagnosis tool, crisis service, or substitute for professional care. If you are in immediate danger or need urgent help, contact emergency services or a qualified healthcare professional.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated as SelfContour develops. If the app later adds accounts, cloud sync, analytics, or server-side processing, this page should be updated before those features are released.
